What Your To-Do List Is Missing: A Message from Spirit & Your Pets

🚨 Biggest Lesson from the Psychic Fair? People are running on empty. 🚨 At a recent psychic fair, I offered Akashic Record Readings, Animal Communication, and Mini Hypnosis Sessions, and a recurring theme kept coming up: ✨ People are waiting to enjoy life until their to-do list is done. ✨ Burnout is real—and it’s draining our energy. ✨ Even DOGS are feeling the winter blues! 🐾 One pup requested a heated sofa pad, another an infrared light, and many just wanted more time to ground their energy. If our pets know how to advocate for their well-being, why don’t we? 💡 What if JOY was the first to-do, not the last? If you’ve been putting off self-care, waiting for the "right time" to recharge, this is your reminder—it’s time to prioritize YOU. 🌿💖 Read the full blog post to discover the insights & how to shift your energy today

What If Joy Was the First To-Do?

Lessons from the Psychic Fair

This past weekend, I spent the day at a psychic fair, offering Akashic Record Readings, Animal Communication, and Mini Hypnosis Sessions blended with Coaching. Every reading and session held its own magic, yet I couldn’t help but notice a few recurring themes—gentle (and sometimes not-so-gentle) nudges from the universe that we all need to hear.

And one of the biggest?

People Are Working Too Hard and Waiting for Joy

Many of the people I connected with were burnt out, overwhelmed, and waiting to enjoy life until their responsibilities were finished. The problem? Those to-do lists never really end. There’s always something more to do, someone else to take care of, another task demanding attention.

But here’s the truth:

👉 Joy isn’t something we earn after the work is done—it’s something that fuels the work itself.

When we deprive ourselves of the things that light us up, our energy drains faster, making it even harder to be productive. The soul needs replenishment before productivity, not after. It’s joy, creativity, and presence that fill our tanks and give us the stamina to get things done.

💫 Joy isn’t a reward—it’s a requirement. 💫

And this wasn’t just a message for the humans.

Even Dogs Feel the Winter Blues!

In my Animal Communication Readings, I tuned into the emotions of beloved pets, and to my surprise, even the dogs were feeling the effects of winter.

Some struggled with the lack of sunlight and outdoor play. Others were absorbing the stress of their human companions. And some just had very specific comfort requests (because, let’s be honest, pets know exactly what they want).

What Did the Dogs Have to Say?

  •  More than one dog requested a heated pad on their favorite spot on the sofa for extra comfort.
  • Another asked for an infrared light to bask under for warmth and relaxation.
  • Several needed better grounding, struggling to release pent-up energy indoors, which often led to a bit of chaotic behavior.
  • Some wanted stress relief tools, like thunder vests, lavender, and pheromone plug-ins( Mom's scented sweatshirt ) to feel safer and calmer.
  • And one very particular pup had a simple, heartfelt request, "Please don’t wake me up from my naps!" 😂

It was a beautiful reminder that just like us, our pets have physical, emotional, mental, and energetic needs. They’re affected by seasonal changes, household stress, and shifts in routine.

So, if you’ve been feeling off lately, take a look at your furry family members. Are they showing signs of needing extra care, too? Sometimes, the way we support them can mirror what we need for ourselves.

Self-Care First, Then Productivity

Whether you’re human or animal, meeting your needs before meeting your responsibilities isn’t indulgent—it’s essential. Taking care of yourself first leads to better focus, stronger energy, and more sustainable effort over time.

Because even the first rough draft of anything—whether it’s a project, a new habit, or a big dream—takes energy. And if we’re depleted, that energy just isn’t there.

So today, I invite you to:

🌿 Give yourself permission to rest before you push through another task.

🐕 Take your pet on that walk before they start bouncing off the walls.

🔥 Light a candle, play music, or do something that nourishes you.

🌙 Remember: Productivity without replenishment leads to burnout.

Need Support in Replenishing Your Energy?

If this resonates, maybe it’s time to prioritize your well-being. Whether it’s through self-reflection, a Salt Cave Meditation, or even an Animal Communication Session to check in on your pet’s needs, honoring your energy can shift everything.
