For People Who Want Change! Not Just Conversation...

Beyond Talking About the Past

For People Who Want Change! Not Just Conversation

If you've already tried explaining your feelings, trauma dumping, or "thinking positively" but the same emotional reactions keep showing up, IEMT offers a different route.

  • Old memories feel less intense, more distant, or neutral.
  • Reactions that once felt automatic simply don't show up as strongly.
  • It's easier to respond calmly in situations that used to cause stress.

When IEMT Can Be Useful

  • Feeling "stuck" in unhelpful emotional patterns
  • Stress or tension linked to past experiences
  • Reactions that feel stronger than the situation warrants
  • Wanting focused change without years of therapy.

Breakthrough Past Negative Experiences

with IEMT - Integral Eye Movement Therapy

While IEMT comes with no guarantee, here are the typical benefits clients have shared...

  • Improved mental and emotional clarity
  • Feeling more present (freedom from emotional past)
  • Improved Self Concept
  • Improved Relationships

What Makes IEMT Different?

Unlike talk-based therapy, IEMT focuses on the mechanics of emotional responses- not just the story behind them.

It works directly with how responses are stored in the brain, creating shifts that are:

- Fast and measurable
- Targeted to the present
- Guided by a clear process

IEMT Program

  • Intake and Discussion: filling out paperwork and discussing your background, pertinent history, and the goals for the session. The more I know what is important to you the better I can guide your session and help you create momentum forward.
  • We get to work! Exploring the changes you would like to make and what has been getting in the way, whether it's a negative and unwanted emotion, undesirable identity traits, uncomfortable memories or past traumas. What I feel really sets IEMT apart is that we don't need to rehash the traumas or stories to release these imprints and their effects on you!
  • IEMT usually consists of 2-3 sessions, and always ends on a positive note with exercises that help you become more centered in the now and present.
  • There may be additional recommendations for after care, establishing some goals or actions to help you create change as you move forward.

Is IEMT For You?

IEMT is a rapid therapeutic change work modality that is very dynamic, and there are some individuals who are not suited for this method. Let's talk and see if IEMT could be for you or if another approach might be recommended before you book!

STILL GOT QUESTIONS? I GOT YOU!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to re-live difficult experiences?

No- you don't have to give all the details for the method to work.

Will I still remember what happened?

Yes- the aim is not to erase memory, but to change how it affects you.

 Is it safe?

Yes- IEMT is a structured, client-led process delivered by a certified trained practitioner

 Can I wear contacts/glasses?

It's recommended not to have them on, so long as you can see me in front of you and follow the eye movements. Many clients choose to take their contacts out, and bring eye drops for after the session, then put them in or take glasses off during eye movements.

Can IEMT effect my legal case?

If the you are a victim or witness of crime and are likely to be giving evidence in any legal process, then without exception, suitable and relevant legal advice must be sought prior to any IEMT treatment.

IEMT is a process that directly affects memory recall and memory coding, and thus IEMT treatment may potentially be raised to question the validity of an IEMT recipient's testimony.

What if I have Ocular Disease?

Until there is sufficient medical evidence to suggest otherwise, eye movement work should not be used with any individual who has any active or current ocular disease process. There are no exceptions to this.

Such conditions include conjunctivitis, glaucoma, history of detached retina and recent trauma such as "a black eye." Problems such as a "lazy eye" and poor focal vision are not necessarily a contraindication unless there is an active and concurrent disease process underlying it.
